Job description
Aim of the role:
The primary aim of this role is to assist with the administration of customer requests to terminate services. Redcentric has acquired a number of companies over the last few years and the cancellation process has become more complex due to acquired companies' terms and conditions. A new dedicated team is being set up to manage the termination process to ensure all customer requests to terminate service are processed correctly in line with their contracted terms and conditions.
Key responsibilities:
Duties will include, but are not restricted to the following:
- Manage service termination requests from customers and account managers via Redcentric SMAX ticket process.
- Review signed contract documentation, contract start & end dates, minimum terms, auto-renew terms, notice periods, etc.
- Calculate contractual early termination charges if applicable.
- Communicate with customers and account managers regarding the service termination, keeping them informed at each step in the process.
- Prepare termination acceptance documentation.
- Communication with the billing team regarding services & dates to terminate billing.
Additional tasks
- Work closely with the sales support and billing team regarding customer specific termination allowances
- Assist with any billing queries that may arise in relation to a customer termination
Person specification
Skills, attributes and experience relevant for the role include:
- Confident in using and manipulating data in MS Excel
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- Analytically minded.
- Ability to take responsibility and ownership of tasks, whilst also working as part of a team.
- Highly motivated with a proactive approach
- Excellent communication skills to deal with both internal stakeholders and external Customers.
- Ability to identify and question inaccuracies and escalate to management.
Hours of work
The company's standard hours of work are 9.00 until 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday, with one hour for lunch, and 3:30pm on a Friday. However due to the nature of this role there will be the need for flexibility in relation to working hours from time to time.
