Job Description:
We are currently seeking qualified Early Years Practitioners to join our pool of temporary staff. As a Temporary Early Years Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work in different childcare settings on a flexible basis, covering staff absences, busy periods, or special projects. This role offers variety, the chance to gain valuable experience, and the flexibility to work around your schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years old in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote children's learning and development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, maintaining professionalism and adaptability in different environments.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, following health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures.
- Support children with their personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene routines.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure continuity of care and a smooth transition for children.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education).
- Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 years old in a childcare setting.
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and its implementation.
- Flexibility and availability to work on short notice and adapt to different childcare settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and work effectively in a team.
- Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to undergo one.
