Summary
We have a role available for a passionate level 2 swimming instructor at Bradford Grammar School. The hours are 3pm to 7pm with the potential for additional hours at other venues . You will be responsible for providing swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels.
Duties :
- Teach children/adults water safety and swimming techniques
-Plan and conduct swimming lessons in group or private settings.
-Evaluate progress and provide feedback for improvement.
-Ensure a safe and positive learning environment during lessons.
- Organise and supervise activities and games
-Maintain cleanliness and order in the pool area.
Skills:
- Proficient in swimming and an experienced swim teacher
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and interact with students.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and parents.
- Lifesaving qualifications required such as RLSS National pool life guard qualification or NRASTC
Valid DBS preferable however will be completed in house as required.
Privately owned swim school with ongoing training and support as required.
