Join Our Team as a Stock Assistant at the Ashmolean Museum!
The Stock Assistant will sit within our Retail Merchandising team at the Ashmolean Museum. Our merchandising team ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time. This role will support the Merchandising & Online team in ensuring all administrative, physical and digital tasks are fulfilled to the highest standard.
The successful candidate will be expected to be flexible with their availability over a 7-day period, as this position plays an important role in the success of both our physical and online retail presence. Early starts, evening shifts and/or weekend work may be required.
This is a fixed term post for 12 months, working variable hours. It is anticipated that you will work between 16-30 hours, Monday-Friday.
The role requires regular manual handling, including moving deliveries to respective shops and stockroom locations. Training will be provided and trolleys and lifts are available.

About You
You will have exceptional attention to detail, strong computer skills and excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to work autonomously and manage workload effectively is also essential.
Passionate about retail, with an interest in achieving sales targets.
You will have the ability to multi task and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a demanding environment.
