Machine Operative
Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday and 8am to 2:30pm on Fridays
Pay: £12.21 per hour

Our client who is based in Mansfield is urgently looking to recruit Machine Operatives to join their conscientious team on an ongoing basis due to growth within the business. If you are looking for stability then this position could be for you as permanent opportunities are available.
The role consists of cutting and forming on the machines.
Responsibilities:
• To set and operate the machines, adjust and maintain as required
• Fitting the right tools to active machines
• Performing proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories
• Setting tolerance levels and cutting speeds
• Translates the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production
• Inspecting workflows to ensure that technical and quality standards are met
• Devising a work plan to efficiently carry out daily machining
Skills:
• Excellent time keeping and attendance
• Tidy in nature
• Excellent attendance record
• Good attitude to work
