Summary
The post holder will respond to calls logged by IT Administration team to process our IT equipment project roll out to end users. The post holder will be required to provide on-site assistance, as well as installing and configuring new equipment
Key tasks include:
• To provide on-site IT Support to staff
• Configuring and testing devices to work on the trust network
• Demonstrating to staff
• Dealing with staff face to face and ensuring a clear and well-mannered nature
• Provide cover to the ICT ServiceDesk
• Ensure that all IT assets are recorded on appropriate system
• Knowledge of using a Servicedesk/Helpdesk system
• Experience of faulty equipment processes

The post holder must have
• Good communicational skills
• Ability to work guided by standard operating procedures and with minimal supervision
• Knowledge and experience of software deployment
• Knowledge and experience of software packages such as Word, Excel and Databases
• Knowledge and experience of hardware components
• Knowledge and experience of imaging platforms where multicasting to a high number of devices
The post holder will need to be able to liaise with all levels of staff throughout the Trust and must be able to work as part of a team and deal with dissatisfied users.
