Summary
Personal care assistant required for two young females
Our client has a vacancy for one or two workers, to support their twin daughters. They have diagnoses of Autism, display behaviours associated with Pica disorder and are non-verbal. The role will consist of supporting our clients’ daughters in accessing the community and partaking in recreational activities. There may be some occasional personal care required.
The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, be creative, fun, caring, understanding and open-minded. Our client’s daughters do not identify danger or risk, so it is vital that the successful candidate is alert and prioritises safety. Our client’s daughters are fun-loving characters with a great sense of humour. They particularly enjoy swimming, trips to arcades, painting, crafts, and music, but are open to any fun activity.
The role is 3 hours per week per child, paid at £12.21ph. The role is based in Scunthorpe. The hours are to be worked outside of school hours - ideally weekends.
Due to the nature of the role an enhanced DBS will need to be completed, which we will fund.
If you would like to apply please email a copy of your CV to gboardman@hull-cvs.co.uk
