Summary
Vixen International Trading and Contracting Ltd is seeking a qualified Procurement Officer to join their team. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing the company's procurement processes, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and equipment required for mining, construction, and civil engineering projects.
Main duties include:
• Build and maintain good relationships with trustworthy suppliers, negotiate deals, and get the best prices for materials and machinery.
• Create and follow buying strategies to save costs and ensure quality.
• Keep an eye on supplier performance, quickly handling problems to ensure high-quality products and services are delivered on time.
• Manage inventory efficiently by tracking stock levels and restocking items as needed for project needs.
• Keep detailed records of all purchasing activities and prepare reports to support business decisions.
Skills and Education:
• Proven experience in procurement services or related fields.
• Excellent negotiation skills and strong attention to detail.
• The ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
