This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Headteacher or current Deputy Headteacher to work in our exceptional school within the high performing Bohunt Education Trust. Due to changes to the School’s leadership structure, Bohunt School in Liphook is seeking a Deputy Headteacher for September 2025. We are looking to recruit an exceptional leader, who shares our ethos of ‘enjoy respect achieve’ to support and add capacity to the next stage of our development.
Bohunt School is an exceptional school educating children aged 11-18; it is consistently oversubscribed and will have 2,016 students on roll in September. We have a thriving and highly successful sixth form which was rated as Outstanding by Ofsted in March 2024. Positioned between Portsmouth and Guildford and enjoying excellent road and rail links, Bohunt School, TES School of the Year in 2014, is a rewarding place to work, with fantastic students and staff. We have high aspirations for the students in our community and commit wholeheartedly to providing an unparalleled student experience.
Our vision and values drive everything that we do, so we are looking for someone who aligns with our approach. This will be a new position in the senior leadership team due to the growth and popularity of the school, therefore the roles and responsibilities of the successful candidate will be shaped around the strengths, abilities and passions of the collective leadership team.
The successful candidate will take on responsibility for the day-to-day management of the school alongside the Headteacher and senior leadership colleagues, maintaining the highest standards in all aspects of our school culture. This role will work closely with other teachers and leaders in the Bohunt School team and the wider Bohunt Education Trust network to secure excellent outcomes for our young people.
