Summary
Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver Are you a qualified Class 2 HGV Driver looking for ad hoc work in the Welwyn Garden City area?
We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable Class 2 drivers to support ongoing temporary assignments with a well-established logistics company. This is an ideal opportunity for drivers looking for flexibility and variety in their working schedule.
Main duties will include: Carrying out deliveries and collections across the UK Completing delivery paperwork accurately Conducting vehicle checks and reporting any issues Providing a professional service to clients Requirements: Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card Previous Class 2 driving experience (6 months preferred) Good knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Shifts: Start times vary from 6am-8am Monday to Friday Pay Rates: Pay £17.00 per hour before 8 hours worked Overtime after 8 hours worked £23.00 per hour Other benefits of working for The Best Connection Group Ltd include: 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday) Online payslips Weekly pay Pension Contribution On-going assignments
