Summary
Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C+E (Class 1) Driver The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing logistics company based in Darlington who are looking to expand their team with reliable and professional HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) drivers.
This role offers regular ongoing work on a 4 on / 4 off day shift rota. There is a potential for temp-to-perm placement for the right drivers.
Job duties: Running trailers from Darlington to Bolton or Bathgate and tip Run to Penrith and reload and returning to Darlington Trailer types include curtain side and refrigerated Requirements: Valid Class 1 (C+E) UK Licence Valid Driver CPC (DQC) Valid Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 2 years commercial UK Class 1 experience (for insurance purposes) Maximum 6 points for minor offences - No DR or IN endorsements Hours of work: Shift start times of 02.00am or 03.00am 4 on / 4 off day shift rota Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour - Monday to Friday £18.00 per hour - Saturday £19.00 per hour - Sunday Benefits of working for The Best Connection include: Weekly pay Online payslips Holiday accrual Personal accident insurance Pension accrual Ongoing assignments Access to 'Perks at Work ' temporary worker benefit scheme Candidates will be invited to register online via our digital onboarding system.
