University Hospitals Dorset are looking for housekeeping assistants to join #TeamUHD.

We are looking for a highly motivated and organised persons, who will become part of a team of Housekeeping Assistants who facilitate the flow of patients throughout the hospital.

You’ll be organised and able to communicate effectively - ensuring wards and departments are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.

Duties include:
• To work as part of a team or alone, providing a high standard of domestic service to patients, staff and visitors within Clinical/Non Clinical Wards/Departments and Theatres.
• Delivering prioritised cleans, ensuring patient flow throughout the hospitals.

Permanent roles available:

Monday to Friday 12:00-20:00 = 37.5 hours per week (full-time) - 1 role

Monday - Sunday (3 shifts of 7) 10:00-16:00 = 18 hours per week - 1 role

Monday to Sunday (5 shifts of 7) 7.5 hours per shift = 37.5 hours (full time) - 3 roles

Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital

To work as part of a team or alone, providing a high standard of domestic service to patients, staff and visitors within Clinical/Non Clinical Wards/Departments and Theatres.

You will be following the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2021 to deliver the high standards we would all expect when using a hospital. Fully supported by a team of supervisors to guide you through training and full understanding of your important role within our team.

Please note if the role or service is relocated as part of a planned move, employees will not be eligible for excess mileage reimbursement. Travel from the postholder's home to the new work base will be considered a normal commute. Any other changes not related to this relocation will be managed according to the relevant Trust or National terms and conditions.
