Summary

We are looking for a Social Worker to join the Adoption Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 year post qualified experience.

About the team:


We are looking for a social worker who is experienced in fostering or adoption to play a vital role in the recruitment, assessment, and support of prospective adoptive parents. This will include engaging in the initial and comprehensive assessments of adopters and supporting them through the approval and matching process, placement of child/ren and until the adoption order is granted. You will also attend recruitment campaigns, provide a duty recruitment system, deliver Information sessions, preparation groups for adopters and additional training programmes as required.

About you:

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 year post qualifying needed to be considered for this role.

Previous work experience within a Fostering/ Adoption Team is essential.

It is essential to have a UK Driver's License.
