Summary
Prospero Teaching is looking for a 1:1 Online Tutor to deliver sessions remotely in either GCSE English, Maths or Science.
The Opportunity
This Online Tutor Opportunity is for a professional tutor and qualified UK teacher to bridge learning gaps, raise attainment and prepare students for their GCSEs. The successful candidate will have outstanding teaching skills both in the classroom and when delivering innovative and engaging online learning and a passion for helping students from a range of backgrounds to develop their English, Science or Maths skills.
At Prospero Teaching it is our mission is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK. We are looking for online tutors who are eager to work with children and young people with a variety of learning needs with a creative, flexible and holistic approach to raise attainment and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.
Contract/Position details
- Location - Online
- Position - Tutor
- Type of work - Contract
- Start date - ASAP
- Duration / Likely Duration - dependent on each student
- Contract type - Temporary
- Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on availability
- Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £25 per hour
- Hours - Working hours can differentiate, minimum 1 hour per session and a maximum of 3 hours per session
Experience, Training and qualifications
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
- 6 months+ experience working in a UK school
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
