Summary

Citizens Advice Nottingham & District are looking for Help to Claim Advisers to join our dedicated Help to Claim team. The team provides an effective and efficient support service for first time Universal Credit claimants. The service includes the provision of advice, information and support via video, telephone, and digital channels, aimed at helping claimants through to the first payment of Universal Credit.

Where possible Citizens Advice Nottingham & District offers flexible working, and these roles will be a combination of home and office-based working.

We need people proficient in IT with effective communication skills. Knowledge and experience of welfare benefits advice is desirable although training will be given.

The Help to Claim service operates Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. Successful applicants will work between 30 and 37 hours per week, working hours on each day between 8am and 6pm, to be discussed.

Successful applicants will be invited to interview on a ‘first-come-first-served’ basis until the post has been filled. Any applications received after this will not be considered.
