Summary
AMG Chrome is currently seeking a reliable and proactive Operative to join our Facilities Site Team. This role will involve supporting a wide range of facilities-related tasks across our extensive site to help ensure the general appearance of our buildings, grounds, and surrounding areas is consistently well maintained and presentable.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a dedicated team working to uphold high standards in site upkeep.
Duties:
· Carry out general site maintenance, including repairs, painting and basic DIY tasks
· General gardening and maintenance – including grass cutting
· Manual handling tasks – setting out and moving furniture
· Conduct routing checks and inspections of facilities and report any issues
· Observing all health & safety guidelines to ensure a safe and clean work environment
· Keeping tools, equipment and plant in good condition and reporting any defects immediately
· Perform other duties as assigned
The Person:
· Previous experience in a facilities, maintenance or handyman role preferred
· Practical skills in basic maintenance, manual handling and safe use of hand tools.
· Ability to follow work instructions and independently adhere to safe working procedures
· Forklift Truck Licence (desirable)
· A good understanding of English written and oral
Dependable on experience annual salary between £26,000 - £29,000
Hours of Work – Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm
