Summary

Senior Structural Engineer

We’re seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our client within their London-based team, specialising in high-rise residential buildings and supporting the delivery of Building Safety Cases under the Building Safety Act.

You’ll lead structural inspections, assessments, and safety case reporting, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the integrity and safety of occupied residential towers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural assessments for high-rise residential properties

  
  

• Prepare and review structural input for Building Safety Cases

  
  

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior staff

  
  

• Develop remediation strategies in collaboration with fire and façade engineers

  
  

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies

  
  Requirements

  • Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng)

    
    

  • Membership with relevant professional body (IStructE/ICE)

    
    

  • Strong experience with high-rise residential structures

    
    

  • In-depth knowledge of UK Building Regulations and safety legislation

    
    

  • Strong experience in site based structural engineering activities
