  • About the Role:
    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Transformation and Change Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving process improvements and implementing changes within our payroll systems and processes. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a public sector or large organizational setting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive business analysis with a focus on process mapping, redesign, and improvements in payroll systems.
    • Lead change initiatives and re-engineer processes using LEAN methodologies.
    • Analyse payroll data to identify trends and generate actionable insights.
    • Engage with stakeholders to communicate technical concepts clearly and provide actionable recommendations.
    • Manage projects or contribute to the successful delivery of system upgrades or implementations.
    • Ensure compliance with local government payroll systems, policies, and procedures.

    Key Requirements:

    • Proven experience in business analysis, particularly in process mapping, redesign, and payroll system improvements.
    • Sound knowledge of LEAN methodologies and experience in leading change initiatives.
    • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret payroll data and generate insights.
    • Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
    • Experience in project management or contributing to system upgrades/implementations.
    • Knowledge of local government payroll systems, policies, and procedures.
    • Desirable: Experience in the public sector or large organizational settings.
    • Certification in business analysis (e.g., BCS, CBAP) or relevant payroll qualifications.
    • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Prince2.
