The Job
As a Domestic Assistant, your wellbeing is highly regarded and you have the opportunity to be heard at a variety of employee meetings, workshops and team building session which makes working for Sheffield Hallam University a more involved experience.
You will work as part of a team throughout the University Campuses and provide support to University events, departmental activities and help desk requests.
Continued professional development is available through apprenticeships, ongoing training and support, and you can make use of the facilities such as SHU Wellness, discount to Gyms, legal services and much more.

Our Domestic Assistants represent the University at the highest level, as the cleanliness of the campus plays an important role in attracting our students when they are deciding which University they want to attend.
Their work is often praised by our colleagues as they aim to achieve the highest standards possible.
Our Domestic Assistants have the freedom to influence their work schedules to present the University in its best possible light, proudly supported by Senior Domestic Assistants and Unit Leaders to reach this ambition.
