Summary
Duties:
• Appoint, train, and supervise staff members.
• Oversee the daily operation of the store, including administration, facilities, security, and customer service
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to staff, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Regularly review and assess staff performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching when needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to provide customers with information about merchandise and special promotions.
• Address customer complaints and inquiries related to sales and service in a professional and efficient manner.
• Ensure that sufficient reserves of merchandise are maintained to meet customer demands.
• Oversee efficient stock keeping procedures, including inventory counts and replenishment.
• Maintain and safeguard financial records accurately.
• Implement security measures to protect the store's premises and assets.
• Authorise payments for received supplies and make decisions on pricing, discount rates, and credit terms.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of merchandise.
• Ensure that advertising and display facilities are effectively utilised to promote
products.
• Analyse sales figures and forecast future sales
