Summary

Why not join one of our many teams of Catering Assistants in schools and nurseries within Dunfermline and West Fife villages. We have several permanent vacancies to join our teams all working various hours per day as required between 10:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday on a 38 week term time contract.

Primary Schools:

Rosyth:

Camdean Primary School - 1 post x 10 hours per week (2 hours per day as required between 11:30am and 2:00pm), 38 week contract.
Kings Road Primary School - 1 post x 10 hours per week (2 hours per day as required between 11:30am and 2:00pm), 38 week contract.

High Schools:

Dunfermline:

Dunfermline High School - 1 post x 10 hours per week (2 hours per day as required between 10:00am to 2:00pm), 38 week contract.

You will earn a competitive salary of £23,783.40 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:

We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.67 per hour for this post. plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
Pay is annualised (equal instalments every 4 week pay period).

Travel expenses will be paid – we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car in mobile posts.

This work is about providing customer service, ensuring pupils and staff receive hot or cold meals every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference whether it's Breakfast Club, morning break or lunch you have served.

On the job training is given working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate.

No specific qualification is required for this post as full training will be given.

You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.

Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
