Summary
To use advanced sexual health/HIV knowledge and skills to independently manage total episodes of care within their own scope of professional practice Provide clinical guidance and specialist advice to the nursing team and act as a role model for advanced practice To supply and administer medicines under the Patient Group Directions or as a Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) for both sexual health/HIV and contraception patients Contribute to evidence based practice and research projects within the clinical areas and ensure that written standards for clinical care are formulated, utilised and reviewed regularly and as necessary Collaborate with the Lead Nurses appropriately for professional support and guidance To develop in collaboration with the Lead Nurses , Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) and Clinic Manager guidelines and protocols relevant to sexual health/HIV and contraception Please see attached job description and person specification to this advert for further details.
