Social Care & Education is currently recruiting experienced and committed Support Workers to join our team in the Liverpool L20 area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are CPI-trained and passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care to adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviour in a supported living setting.
Your Responsibilities as a Support Worker
Supporting individuals with daily routines such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Administering medication independently and maintaining accurate records.
Encouraging service users to develop life skills while treating them with dignity and respect.
Promoting community engagement and facilitating activities to enhance well-being.
Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours using CPI techniques.
Keeping up-to-date, detailed documentation and ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.
Working confidently during lone shifts, showing initiative and professionalism.
What We’re Looking for in a Candidate
At least 3 months’ UK experience in a supported living environment.
Proven experience supporting adults with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
The ability to manage responsibilities independently during lone working.
Confidence in administering medication accurately.
A valid CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training certificate.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain detailed documentation.
A current Enhanced DBS check (preferably on the update service).
