Summary
Job Purpose The Post Holder Will:- *Provide a high standard of Occupational Therapy within the service. *Provide specialist assessment, treatment plans and interventions to Stroke and ABI patient in both patient's homes, and community hospital setting using a variety of treatment provision methods. *Participate in the development of the Service in the community and within the Community hospital bedded environments. *Provide advice regarding the rehabilitation management of patients to families, carers and other members of the MDT. *Provide support, guidance and training to Rehabilitation assistants, Assistant Practitioners, Band 5 therapists and students. *Responsibility for a caseload of complex patients within both the community and the community hospital bedded environments. *Act as Clinical Supervisor and undertake Managerial Supervision, including Appraisal, for Rehabilitation Assistants and Band 5 Occupational Therapists *Work their hours over 7 days, including out of hours, weekends and bank holidays, to meet the needs of the service. *Be a car driver with a valid driving licence or have access to transport with appropriate business insurance in order to travel throughout the Trust, to meet the needs of the service
