Summary
UHS is one of the UKs highest recruiting trusts of patients to clinical trials. The Trust is also a major centre for teaching and research in association with the University of Southampton and partners including the Medical Research Council and Welcome Trust. Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust (SFT) is an acute Trust in South Wiltshire which delivers a broad range of clinical care to approximately 270,000 people in Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire. It offers both Clinical Haematology and Oncology services. SFT provides inpatient, day care and outpatient services for all areas of cancer treatment, and has a dedicated Cancer Support Team. The post is open to CCT holders (or those within 6 months) in Medical Oncology. It is available as a full time 10.25 PA post although part time or job share applicants will be considered. You must hold Full and Specialist registration (and with a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC) or be eligible for registration within six months of interview. If you are UK trained, you must ALSO be a holder of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), or be within six months of award of CCT by date of interview. If you are non-UK trained, you will be required to show evidence of equivalence to the UK CCT.
