Summary
Are you the type of person that likes all the t’s crossed and the i’s dotted? Are you highly compliant with knowledge of Export/Import trade regs? Can you juggle many balls at one time and have strong communication skills… if yes keep reading!
In this role you will work closely with highly regulated sectors therefore, any experience of MOD, Aerospace or similar industries would be highly advantageous. That said, it wouldn’t be a dealbreaker if you have demonstrable experience within compliance that could be transferred.
You should be an expert when it comes to SPIRE and LITE, being able to navigate the sites and manage relevant export licences. Understanding the UK and EU regs will be paramount to your role, as you will ensure that the flow of products leaving or entering the country have the required declarations and records to accompany them.
Your analytical and IT skills should be of a high standard to manage processes and keep the business in line with all trade regulations. You will support the quality team with internal auditing to ensure full end to end compliance and act as the “go to” person for regulatory bodies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
