Summary
Allstaff Manufacturing Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Production Planner for our well-established client based East Kilbride. As an Operations Planner/Scheduler, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Duties:-
Creating and updating production schedule.
Develop and maintain production and material plans, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions where needed.
Streamlining processes so that production can meet deadlines.
Manage capacity planning processes and lead regular production review meetings.
Working very closely with Sales, Production & Procurement teams to ensure production operations are on track.
Develop innovative solutions to process challenges, always aligning with company goals.
Reporting on key deliverables and status.
Requirements:-
Strong MRP planning skills and a good understanding of manufacturing processes.
Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment, ideally with ERP systems.
Familiarity with bills of material and routings (advantageous).
Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Pro-active in managing work load.
Good team player and communicator but also the ability to work from own initiative.
Benefits:-
Salary, circa £35-£37k depending on experience
4-day working weeks, 37.5hrs. Mon to Thurs
262.5 hours holiday
