Data Analyst and Work Planner
Wolverhampton
Full Time / Part Time
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
At Euro Communication Distribution Limited (ECD), we’ve been an established leader in the tech wholesale and recycling industry since 1999. We pride ourselves on using data to drive smarter decisions, maximise revenue, and stay ahead in a competitive marketplace. We’re looking for a commercially minded Data Analyst and Work Planner to join our growing team and help us unlock even more potential through strategic planning and data insights.
If you love working with numbers, thrive in fast-paced environments, and want your work to have a real impact—this could be your next big move.
The Role:
As a Data Analyst and Work Planner, you’ll be instrumental in using sales and market data to plan workflows, develop pricing strategies, and increase profitability across key platforms. From analysing performance trends to identifying new opportunities, your insights will play a critical role in shaping our operational and sales decisions.
What You’ll Do:
• Analyse sales data to understand trading patterns and inform strategic decisions
• Plan workflows to drive efficiency, maximise sales, and improve revenue outcomes
• Conduct competitor and marketplace pricing analysis across platforms
• Monitor profit margins and identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement pricing strategies based on stock levels, demand, and seasonality
• Assess how pricing adjustments affect performance on Amazon, eBay, and other marketplaces
• Identify new promotional opportunities to boost visibility and sales
• Produce regular reports on activity, trends, and actionable insights
• Evaluate traffic and conversion data to optimise digital content and listing effectiveness
• Identify underperforming stock via stock report analysis
• Monitor and report on marketplace account health (e.g., cancellations, dispatch rates, feedback)
Why You?
• Highly numerate with a meticulous attention to detail
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, etc.)
• Commercially savvy with strong analytical thinking
• Tech-confident and quick to pick up new systems
• Familiarity with Amazon and eBay platforms is a strong advantage
• Experience in mobile phones or the telecoms industry is a plus
• Self-starter who thrives on solving problems and delivering results
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
• A true team player with a proactive mindset and a can-do attitude
Why ECD?
• Established business with over two decades of industry expertise
• Operates in a recession-proof sector: wholesale and tech recycling
• Fast-paced, innovative environment that values data-driven thinking
• Real impact—your work supports efficiency, growth, and sustainability
• Career progression based on merit, not just tenure
Company Perks:
• Permanent position
• Staff discounts
• Private pension scheme
• Team-building events and social outings
• Free onsite parking
• Equal opportunities employer committed to diversity and inclusion since 1999
• Birthdays off and paid (after year 2) without using annual leave
• Up to 28 days of paid holiday
• One additional day of holiday awarded each year from year 2
