Summary

Employment Solicitor is required by this national firm for its Manchester office. The work is almost exclusively respondent based and split evenly between contentious and advisory work.

Role Overview
In joining this firm as an employment solicitor, you will become part of an established national practice. The firm has strong links to the insurance sector which in turn provides it with steady and secure sources of contentious work. In addition to this they are acting for some large household name clients on advisory work, particularly in the retail sector.

Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking an Employment Lawyer who can demonstrate:

- Someone who can handle their own caseload of contentious and advisory work under supervision.
- Newly qualified candidates will be considered, but ideally you will need to have had an employment focussed training contract (more than a 6 month seat) or supplementary paralegal experience in this area of work.
- As a guide our client is looking for someone with 0-3pqe experience.
- Willing to get involved in marketing and business development of the department
