As Bookkeeper, you'll play a key role in supporting the firm's portfolio of SME clients, providing accurate and timely bookkeeping services in line with the latest compliance standards, including IFRS 102/105. You'll be involved in end-to-end bookkeeping, management reporting, VAT returns, and preparation for year-end accounts.
Responsibilities Include:
. Day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients across various industries
. Preparation and submission of VAT returns and management accounts
. Reconciling bank accounts and balance sheets
. Assisting in the preparation of year-end accounts
. Ensuring financial records are maintained in accordance with IFRS 102/105
. Liaising with clients on bookkeeping and transactional queries
. Using cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
What We're Looking For:
. Proven experience working within an accountancy practice (essential)
. Strong knowledge of IFRS 102 and/or IFRS 105 reporting frameworks
. Proficient in accounting software - ideally Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar
. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
. Strong communication skills and client-facing confidence
. Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines
