Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
As our Project Manager you'll be overseeing a programme of works on our Southern Water Framework across the South Coast area. You'll be responsible for overseeing multiple projects from inception to completion and for the safe, on time, efficient and right first time delivery. You'll lead a team of professionals as well as being the point of contact for the Client and stakeholders. You will work with the delivery team, co-ordinate project stakeholders such as highways, local authorities, Southern Water, Capital Delivery Waste Water operations .
We'll need you to liaise with clients, designers and delivery teams throughout the target cost setting, design and delivery phases of a project. You'll have the opportunity to mentor and lead project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
You'll develop an environment where staff share ideas and best practice. Problem solve, identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensuring projects are delivered in a safe, efficient, timely way and promoting best practice in quality management
What they’ll bring – Key skills, qualifications and experience

- Do you have a Degree/HNC/HND or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Construction?
- Have you gained management training such as Institute of Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent?
- Do you have a NEBOSH National Certificate
- Do you have experience of working in the water industry and rising main projects?
- Proven ability to deliver against operational targets
- SMSTS
- APM
- Water hygiene
- Full driving license
