We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and qualified Nursery Nurse to join our established and welcoming team who believe in creating an enjoyable workplace for all! The successful candidate will have experience in providing care to children in our baby room and will join us in our small, cosy, bright and spacious home from home setting to provide a caring environment for the children.
Responsibilities
To provide the highest standards of quality care and education to children in our baby room.
Prepare and maintain appropriate children’s records, observations and learning journeys and a system of planning, in a timely manner, for individual needs and next steps.
To implement and evaluate a plan of suitable experiences and activities for the children in your care, providing a safe and stimulating environment for the children to develop.
To work in close partnership and to develop and maintain good relationships with parents / carers and other family members.
To be considered for our Nursery Assistant role, within our baby room, you must have:
Level 2 or above qualification in Early Years childcare
A sound understanding of the EYFS
Experience working with 6 months to 2 years of age children
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
A passion to work with children
Teamworker
Good time keeping and attendance
