Summary
We are a very well established joinery manufacturing company in Nottingham with over 60 years experience in the manufacturing and construction industry. Specialising mainly in solid timber bespoke items producing a wide variety of products using mainly water based paints and stains but also A/C lacquers from time to time.
We are looking for a person with the following specification:
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Good time management and task management skills
• The ability to work individually with minimum supervision and as part of a team
Although training is available the following would be ideal:
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Familiarity with different types of wood finishes and application techniques
• Proficiency in using spray guns and other finishing equipment
As the sprayer the candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Inspect products for defects and make necessary fine adjustments if required
• Check surfaces have been prepared correctly
• Apply paint and lacquer using spray guns
• Carry out masking and glazing duties
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Inspect, clean and maintain equipment
• Always carry out tasks inline with health and safety requirements
• Carry out general housekeeping to ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy
The successful applicant will be supplied with all the necessary spraying equipment, PPE equipment required to carry out there job to the standards required.
Monday-Friday 8-4.30pm
Salary negotiable DOE
