Summary
Hudson Maintenance Ltd are a family run established roofing company based in Huddersfield, that undertakes all aspects of roofing, from reactive minor repairs for our commercial clients, to full roofing projects – both small domestic and large commercial works.
We mainly cover the M62 corridor but also carry out work as far as Edinburgh & London.
We pride ourselves on maintaining the strong relationships we have built, by delivering professional, outstanding results, always keeping to time sensitive schedules and abiding by all current legislations in H&S.
All staff have the relevant training certificates and the experience required in order to take on any task handed to them in a competent, timely and professional manner.
Due to our ongoing and continued workload, we are looking to recruit 1 experienced roofer & 1 roofing labourer
To be considered for these roles, you will be able to show the following:
Experienced roofer
• You can work in a small team of 2 or a larger team if required, and you can show experience & ability in all aspects of roofing: i.e. slating, tiling, gutter, facia, soffit, ridge repairs / installing new
• Flat roof repairs/installing new, preferably with cold melt liquid systems
• Full slate/tiled roofs, both small & larger projects
• You will hold the relevant qualifications: NVQ2, CSCS, and preferably also hold a clean driving licence
• DBS clearance, Asbestos awareness UKATA, Pasma, IPAF, working at heights, face fit, first aid, health & safety are desirable qualifications but these can be arranged for the successful candidate.
Roofing labourer
• You will have general site experience to show that you can assist experienced roofers to carry out whatever is required to get the job done effectively
• You can take delivery and subsequent relocation of site materials and will ensure general site maintenance
• You will hold a valid CSCS card and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of both company and H&S policies & procedures.
For both of these roles you must be punctual, reliable and be able to work away from home if required.
A clear criminal record is essential due to the nature of the works and clearance checks.
Salary to be discussed at interview based on experience.
