Summary

Reporting to our UK Marketing Manager this exciting and challenging role is key to delivering the UK & Ireland annual marketing plan to ensure that we put the customer first, while raising UCC Coffee’s profile in the industry.

The Role:

Support the delivery of the marketing plan by assisting on marketing calendar, liaising with agencies, and maintaining our marketing asset bank.
Manage small-medium projects from idea to evaluation, including planning, evaluation, internal reporting and budget management.
Be the partner to our commercial team in developing our key accounts by implementing customer marketing plans, developing creative assets and other customer marketing materials for our key customers.
Support the marketing of our branded coffee, side product and coffee machine portfolio by managing day-to-day relationships with key supplier contacts and ensuring marketing assets are impactful and up to date.
Manage our ecommerce website, UCC Direct, and other digital and social media channels to drive sales to our independent customers and increase brand awareness.
Assist with our events programme, supporting on event plans, stand designs and communication plans for national trade exhibitions and numerous key account events, and coffee tastings.
Input into marketing performance by evaluating campaign results, and work with the data team to understand the effect of activities on leads and new business opportunities developing reports and recommending new activities.
Stay on top of industry trends and developments by working closely with category and insight team, undertake market analysis using existing data sources, local knowledge, trends and insight to identify opportunities.
Some overnight travel to UK & I sites for attendance at trade events and occasional weekends (time in lieu) and ad hoc travel to customers/suppliers required.

The Person:

Motivated marketer with B2B, foodservice, FMCG or hot beverage background
Degree/professional qualification desired but not essential
Self-starter and highly driven, with strong organisational and people skills
Proven ability to manage multiple small/medium scale projects with short lead times
Strong eye for detail with ability to write briefs, proposals and review creative work
Computer proficient with Microsoft Office Applications Excel and PowerPoint
Digital experience of search, social and organic channels a plus
Flexible approach to work, hours and travel as required
