A high-performing secondary school in Luton is looking for a dedicated Maths Graduate to join their team as a Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent chance to work closely with pupils, support Maths achievement, and prepare for a future in education or teacher training.

Role Summary – Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant

• Based at a well-regarded secondary school in Luton
• Long-term, full-time contract beginning ASAP or in September
• Earn £480–£520 per week, paid on a weekly basis
• Work in a school known for academic ambition and STEM success
• Ideal for graduates aiming for PGCE, Teach First, or SCITT routes in 2026

Your Responsibilities Will Include: Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant

• Supporting students in Maths through targeted intervention and group work
• Assisting teachers in preparing and delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Monitoring student progress and helping adapt teaching strategies
• Motivating and encouraging learners to build confidence in numeracy
• Participating in school activities and contributing to a positive learning culture

Who Should Apply? - Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant

• You have a 2:1 or higher degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or a similar subject
• You achieved excellent GCSE and A-level results in STEM fields
• You are a clear communicator and confident working with secondary-age students
• You bring initiative, reliability, and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting learners
• Any experience with tutoring or working with young people is a plus, but not essential
