Summary
Weekend Care Assistant – Immediate Start in Leicester
We’re offering immediate start opportunities for experienced Care Assistants to work weekend shifts in beautiful care homes across Leicester City. You’ll be supporting residents with age-related conditions such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s, helping with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily routines, while also assisting with housekeeping and reporting to senior staff.
To be eligible, you must hold a practical moving and handling certificate dated within the past 6 months.

To be suitable for this position, you must have an Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months, up-to-date mandatory training—including practical moving and handling training dated within the past 6 months—a referenceable work history covering a minimum of three years, and at least three months of previous experience within a UK-based care home setting.
If you do not currently have a valid DBS or up-to-date training, don’t worry—we can help. We offer online training at a subsidised fee, and the certificates are yours to keep.
