The Headteacher and Governors of Holly Hill Primary and Nursery School wish to appoint a full-time teacher for a one-year temporary contract to join our friendly and dedicated team. The position is likely to be in Upper Key Stage 2 although strengths and experiences demonstrated during recruitment means that this will remain flexible.
The successful candidate will work in a team of 3 or 4 with experienced teachers to help, guide, support and share the workload.
We are looking for teachers who:
• Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour who believe that every child can achieve
• Provide children with a happy, safe and exciting learning environment
• Can communicate effectively with children, parents and staff and who can work effectively as part of a team
• Have strong knowledge of teaching and learning and their areas of expertise
• Have excellent subject knowledge
• Have experience of Upper Key Stage 2 teaching and national end of KS2 testing
• Are enthusiastic about contributing to the wider life of school
• Love primary school life and are committed to providing the very best for the children in our care
