This role will give you the chance to play a key part in ground-breaking and high-profile defence projects. You'll be part of an industry-leading team, working with Marshall and other major defence stakeholders and Primes. The hours of the role are Monday - Thursday 5.30pm - 3.15am.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepping, sanding, applying body filler, priming and painting shelters and component parts.
  • Must have the ability to mix by weight, primer and paint in accordance with paint manufacturer's specifications.
  • Prepare parts and shelters to time, cost and quality.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment policies and procedures.
  • Work in accordance with Paint shop procedures (Housekeeping and good working practices).
  • Due to projected manufacturing demands, shift work and overtime may be required.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor - Paint.

Apply if you have the following:

  • Proven experience in a professional paint spraying role.
  • Commitment to high quality workmanship.
  • Able to work well within a team, and follow training with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in prep and painting preferred.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow processes and instructions.
  • Red Seal, Autobody Painter (will consider equivalent of 5,400 hours of practical experience in an automotive painter occupation) preferred but not required.
