Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support teaching and learning in Upper Key Stage 2. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and forward-thinking team, where your skills and passion can make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading learning activities and covering classes during PPA time, under the direction of teaching staff.
Running targeted interventions to support pupil progress and address specific learning needs.
Supporting pupils’ academic progress, engagement, and well-being.
Assisting with planning and delivering high-quality lessons in collaboration with teachers.
The Successful Candidate Will:
Hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).Hold a HLTA qualificationHave experience supporting children in an educational setting, ideally within KS2.
Be confident managing whole-class sessions.
Be enthusiastic, reliable, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Desirable:
A specialism such as fluency in a Modern Foreign Language (MFL), a musical background or interest, or expertise in another area such as sport, computing, art, or SEND.
