Summary


We are looking to recruit a Band 5 Staff Nurse on Ward A at Wrightington Hospital. The ward is a 28 bedded unit caring for post op patients.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain knowledge in joint replacements and other orthopaedic surgery's in a centre of excellence. If you are dynamic and thrive on excelling then this is the perfect opportunity for you to shine.

Candidates will be required to present original certificates for qualifications at interview stage.

Please note NMC registration is a requirement of this role.

Under the supervision of the ward manager the nurse is responsible for the provision, organisation and direction of nursing care of the patients in his/her care. To communicate effectively with all members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and high quality care is provided to all patients.

• In conjunction with senior nursing staff and specialist nurses participate in the setting/monitoring and evaluation of standards of care to patients.
• To communicate effectively with all members of multi-disciplinary team regarding patient
care.
• To assist with the investigation and timely resolution of complaints and PALS enquiries.
