Summary
Other Duties Organisation of elective surgical procedures Coordination of elective procedures eg automated red cell exchange Follow-up and review of investigations and results Administration and correspondence related to patients Letters and correspondence from clinics and inpatients Regular audit Undertaking work related to clinical governance and patient safety within the team Teaching medical students and junior doctors Weekend daytime working with compensatory rest days and on-call supplement (see below). A 1 in 5 weekend ward cover with 40 hours average per week would attract a 6% weekend banding.
