Inspire EHC is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bookham, Surrey, to recruit passionate Unqualified Teaching Assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in education, particularly psychology graduates or those seeking a rewarding career change. If you're enthusiastic about supporting primary school pupils with special educational needs (SEN), this could be the perfect role for you.
In this role, you will provide 1:1 and small group support to primary-aged pupils with a range of SEN, helping them engage with their learning, build confidence, and make progress both academically and emotionally within a supportive primary school setting.
- Support primary school pupils with a variety of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
- Assist in preparing engaging and inclusive learning resources.
- Track and report on pupil progress and behaviour.
- Personalised support from a dedicated consultant.
- Access to free CPD and training opportunities.
- A fast and simple registration process.

- A genuine interest in working with primary-aged children and supporting those with additional needs.
- Patience, empathy, and a willingness to learn on the job.

- Experience with children (e.g. , through volunteering, community work, or parenting) is beneficial but not essential.
