Salary: £110 - 210 (dependent on experience)
Start Date: June 2025

Trust Education are currently hiring for a Primary Teacher for a KS1 teacher to become part of their team. This is for a role working in a primary school in Rotherham. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has prior experience of teaching KS1, as well as EYFS to support the pupils' progression and cover lessons throughout EYFS and predominately KS1

Key Responsibilities:
- Have a proven track record of raising attainment in KS1.
- Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all the pupils in KS1 and EYFS
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment to prepare pupils for the end of KS1 assessments.
- Have a good understanding of phonics and how to deliever support for those children who have not met their phonics screening requirements.
- Establish relationships with pupils, encouraging their confidence, independence, and social development.
- Work closely with colleagues form across KS1, EYFS and SLT.
- Supporting SEN pupils, to ensure they thrive alongside their peers.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour in line with the school's policies and procedures.

About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in KS1, as well as EYFS
- A deep understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
- A passion for teaching, with the ability to engage and inspire children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Flexibility and a positive attitude towards team collaboration.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage time effectively.
- Be able to identify gaps in pupil learning and manage this to narrow this.
- An ability to use a variety of assessment methods to track and support pupil progress.
