Renfrewshire is a leading organisation in the transformation from analogue to digital alarm services. We are looking for a Service Delivery Assistant who has knowledge and understanding of a Telecare service with skills, knowledge and the abilities to manage the day-to-day function of Telecare service, alongside the designated Care at Home Overnight services.
The Telecare service holds a registration with the TSA, you will support the Service Delivery Officer to ensure that procedures, polices are followed in accordance with the terms of the TSA's (TEC Services Association) Quality Standards Framework, and service standards are in line with the requirements of the registration.
You will promote the use of digital equipment and will provide front line management to the Telecare Team and Overnight service. Providing leadership being pro-active in the line management of front-line resources alongside supervision of staff.
We are seeking a candidate who has leadership and management experience of front-line services to support this pivotal role in our services with a strong focus on digital skills, leadership and management skills.
You will offer mentoring, coaching and advice to the teams for performance and resource management
It is essential you possess an SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or agreement to undertake in post within a specified period, in order to achieve SSSC registration.
Experience of working with customers / public, experience of supervising and supporting staff and experience in supporting attendance, budget management, risk assessment and health and safety is also essential.
You must have experience of the allocation of equipment, reporting managing and maintaining Technology Enabled Care alarms through use of electronic systems and have effective IT skills including experience in the use of Microsoft Office Applications along with effective written, interpersonal, communication and effective organisational skills with attention to detail.
Effective literacy and numeracy skills to record, interpret and report on information accurately is essential as is the ability to collate data from a range of sources to provide accurate management information.
You must have a full Driving Licence.
You will be expected to be flexible in your duties and carry out any other duties falling within the general scope of the job, as requested by management and to undertake work of a similar level.
