Summary


We are looking for a part time staff nurse to work in our Epilepsy Specialist Nursing team You will be supported in your development and you will manage a caseload of patients.

The Registered Nurse (RN) will participate in the inter-disciplinary care of a caseload of patients whose needs are being met within the Epilepsy Nursing Service.

They will be a member of a Multi Disciplinary Team and provide assessment, care planning and evidence based care to a defined caseload of patients.
• Provide assessment and personalised care planning and intervention to all patients referred to the service.
• Promote the health of patients and assist in the management of patients through enabling and encouraging independence, provision of support, facilitation of advice and information and education and training.
• To be responsible for the delivery of person centred plan of care e.g. assisting with activities of daily living, MDT goal setting, referral & discharge planning, etc. on a daily basis.
• Assess, manage, re-assess and negotiate with patients with Epilepsyusing reflective practice and clinical reasoning to identify their physical,psychological and psychosocial needs and identify treatment goals andplans.
