Would you like to join a friendly, established company where the work is varied but not overly demanding — and you get an early finish every Friday?
We’re working with a long-standing business in the Stourbridge area that manufactures bespoke glass products used all over the world who are looking to appoint a maintenance engineer to oversee the machinery and facilities.

Up to £36,000 salary, depending on experience
25 days holiday + bank holidays
Pension & on-site parking
Low travel: just one site visit every three weeks, during paid hours, using a company van
Supportive, down-to-earth team
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be handling general maintenance across the site — everything from machinery and building upkeep to fire alarm testing and basic plumbing. You’ll liaise with all departments and be trusted to take initiative and learn new skills. Full support and training are offered for areas like PAT testing and gas safety.
What you’ll need:
17th or 18th Edition certification
Experience in general maintenance (building, machinery, plumbing, etc.)
A full UK driving licence
Willingness to attend occasional call-outs and take part in keyholder duties
A proactive approach and good communication skills
Nice-to-have skills (but not essential):
Welding
Basic lathe work
Electrical fault finding
FLT licence
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work in a stable, respectful environment — with a bit of variety and no shift stress.
