Summary
Senator International in Altham are recruiting for an Apprentice CNC Operative. The successful candidate will work towards completing a Level 2 Furniture Manufacturer apprenticeship over the duration of 24 months.
Description:
• Learn how to set up, operate and maintain CNC machines and equipment to perform machine functions.
• Learn how to accurately input control instructions to run CNC machines.
• Learn how to take accurate measurements to ensure good working conditions of machines.
• Understand how Health & Safety legislation is compiled within a working context.
• Learn how to manage tool data.
• Learn to check specifications matches the CNC programmes.
Requirements:
• Genuine interest in CNC machining and manufacturing.
• Confident communicator.
• Team player.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good problem solving skills.
• A willingness to learn.
Hours:
Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm / Friday 7:00am - 12:45pm / unpaid breaks / 37.5 hours per week
