1. General Information:

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
2. Main duties and responsibilities:
• Helps planning work schedules, delegating and assigning tasks to relevant team members
• Helps with staff management such as recruitment, training, performance monitoring, appraisal and development
• To oversees the day-to-day management and operations of services and providing leadership to staff.
• Helps liaising with health care professionals and wider stake holders to determine short and long-term goals to achieve within budgetary constraints.
• Helps negotiating and managing contracts with providers and purchasers of health care services.
• Helps monitoring the effectiveness of pharmacy services with a view to improve the efficiency of health care provision and efficiencies.
• Helps coordinating the promotion of public health and wellbeing initiatives.
• Statutory procedures are followed, with particular emphasis on patient safety and risk management of practice.
• Helps maintaining patient files on patient medications records, consultations and treatment undertaken and/or drugs prescribed.
