Summary
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Fibreglass Laminator with expertise in hand laying and operating a chopper gun. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing durable, high-quality fibreglass spa shells while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform hand lay-up processes to create fibreglass components with precision and attention to detail.
• Operate a chopper gun to apply fibreglass and resin to moulds efficiently.
• Prepare moulds, including cleaning, waxing, and applying release agents.
• Mix resins and catalysts accurately to achieve optimal material properties.
• Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet specifications and standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
